Barbara Ann Lawson Strunk, age 81 of Huntsville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born on February 7, 1936 to the late Dilmon and Della Lloyd Lawson.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Burley H. Strunk of 49 years; son Bobby Harold Strunk; daughters-in-law: Rochelle Strunk and Betty Lou Strunk; infant grandson Nickey Mason and grandson Roy Strunk; great grandson Travis Strunk; great-great grandchild Weston Strunk; several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by four sons: James Strunk and Floyd Strunk and special friend, Lynn Sexton of Huntsville, TN, Earl Strunk and wife Bobbie of Oneida, TN, Dean Strunk and wife Tina of the Annadell Community; four daughters: Kay Marcum and husband Jupe of the Annadell Community, Patricia Mason and husband Dwayne of Huntsville, TN, Pam Patton and husband Greg of the Straight Fork Community, and Rachel Simpson and husband Phillip of Huntsville, TN; two sisters: Rosa Lee Lawson and Dixie Faye Pyles; two brothers: Gary Lawson and wife Wanda and Lloyd Lawson; 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Brenda Smith, Rhonda, Amy and Sonja and the staff of Quality Hospice.

Friends may visit with the Strunk family on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at the Capitol Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Edmond Lowe and Bro. Bobby Massengale officiating.  Music will be provided by Tammy Hutson. Interment will follow in the Strunk Cemetery in the Winona Community.
