John M. Ivey

John M. Ivey III age 62 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the North Knoxville Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born on December 10, 1955 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Bill and Ann Patton Ivey.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oneida.

He is survived by his wife: Sue Ivey; children: Ashley McMillen and husband John and BJ Ivey; sister: Jane Sullivan; brother: Sam Ivey; grandchildren: Zach McMillen and Lily McMillen; special friends: David Cross and Doug Goss and many more special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Ivey family on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Oneida with Bro. Randy Presnell officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Carson Memorial Cemetery in Oneida, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be: Daniel Terry, Robbie Marlow, Chris Honeycutt, Greg Marlow, Chris Marlow, and Jeremy Orick. Honorary Pallbearers: John McMillen, Zach McMillen, Sam Ivey, Matthew Sullivan, and Chris Rice.
