Mahlon J. Chapman, age 66 of Winfield, TN passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida.  Born March 23, 1951 in Shade Gap, PA, he was the son of Muriel Elder Daub and the late Marshall J. Chapman.  Mahlon was a United States Marine Corp Veteran, and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-mother:  Helen Chapman; step-father:  Leon Daub; and step-brother:  Richard Geissenger.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife:  Judith Ann Lauderback Chapman; two children:  Lonnie Mounts, III and wife Andrea of York, PA, and Jamie Lane and wife Diane of McVeytown, PA; five grandchildren:  Brittany, Amber and James Lane, Jr., all of McVeytown, PA, and Wyatt and Alexa Mounts, and one step-granddaughter:  Ashley Miller, all of York, PA; six great grandchildren; brother:  Michael Chapman and wife Sandy of Saltillo, PA; two sisters:  Pamela Wrenn and husband Wally of Roxsboro, NC., Lori Ulrich and husband Craig of Jonestown, PA, and step-sisters:  Lila Delvin and husband Ronnie of Shade Gap, PA, and Caroline Pugh and husband John of
Shirleysville, PA; and two step-brothers:  Lee and Butch Geissenger, both of Huntingdom, PA; as well as other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Bunker Hill Evangelical Congregational Church in Jonestown, PA at 2:00 p.m.
