Mary R. Pemberton, age 80 of Elgin, Tennessee.  The Lord took her hand and lead her home on April 11, 2017 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mary was the daughter of the late Walter E. and Delta Frogge Myers.  She was a member of the New Charity Church in Robbins.  She loved her church family and Pastor Connie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Claude F. Pemberton and Onlee Human; sons, John Franklin, Curt and Carl Pemberton; brothers Leon, Albert, Sam, Luther, Kenneth, and Walter Myers; sister Martha; daughter Shirley Kirby; grandson Lance Pemberton; and brother-in-law, Bill Mattingly.

She is survived by her children: Claudette Holt of Elgin, Floyd Grant Pemberton, Gatewood Pemberton and wife Trish; Tony Pemberton and wife Tammy; step daughters, Arlene and Faye Pemberton; step sons: Joe and George Pemberton; seven grandchildren: Tony Pemberton, Justin Jones, Audrey Northrup, Adam Herring, Claudia Brown and husband, Nathan, Raven Holt, Ashley Thomas and husband, Troy, and Sara Watson; brother James Myers and wife Bernice; sister Linda Sue Mattingly; great grandchildren: Jade Smith, Lana, Dalton, Austin, Jorden and wife Angel, Jasmine, Hayden, Mckenzie, Landon, Kane, Zadie, and Damon Taylor; great-great grandchildren Hunter and Easton; special son-in-law, Wayne Kirby; niece, Rhonda; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Pemberton Family on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Sis. Connie Bertram officiating.

Interment will follow in the McCartt Cemetery.
