Ora Jean Butler, age 78 of Oneida, TN passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida. She was born March 9, 1939 to the late Clyde and Mary Effie Taylor.
In addition to her parents, Ora Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Lewis Butler; daughter, Mary Ann Goodman; son, Bobby Lee Butler; granddaughters, Heather Claxton and Leslie Olinger; brothers, infant Bubby Taylor, James Taylor, and Robert Taylor; sisters, Maxine Blevins and Florene Gibson; and son-in-law, Joe Goodman.
Ora Jean is survived by son, Jim Butler and wife, Penny; daughter, Amy Olinger and husband, Allen, all of Oneida; grandsons, Billy Butler, Chris Butler, Carl Bell, Jessie Chambers, Chris Chambers, and Cody Olinger; granddaughters, Kim McKinny, Jenny Buttram, Melinda Smith, and Breanna Powell; great-grandchildren, Salena and Lexi Phillips, Summer Ellis, Olivia Stephens, Maria Bell, Alisa Butler, Sconie Bowling, Ryan McKinny, Lewis and Kaden Butler, Matthew Phillips, Bryson Ingram, Hunter Bell, Raiden Olinger, and Krislyn and Dagen Chambers; great-great-grandchild, Brody Ellis; sisters, Joann Webb, Linda Cross and Scott; brother, Lewis Taylor and Raechel, all of Oneida; and many other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Butler family on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Stephens officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carl Bell, Jessie Chambers, Chris Chambers, Cody Stephens, Dalton Brewster, and Loren Buttram.
