Patricia S. "Pat" Chambers

Patricia S. “Pat” Chambers, age 71 of Oneida, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.   Born February 27, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Audney and Thelma Acres.  She was a member of the West Oneida United Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents:  she was preceded in death by three brothers:  Norman, Thomas, and Phillip Acres; and two sisters:  Iona Hammonds and Josephine Nitzschke.

Pat is survived by her husband Ancil Chambers, Jr.; three sons: Jeff Acres and wife Laura of Knoxville, Kenneth Acres and wife Tressa of MS, and Kevin Chambers and wife Tammy of Oneida; three daughters: Teresa Cooper and husband Randy of Oneida, Rhonda Jeffers and husband Ricky of Helenwood, Karen Chambers of Newport; two honorary children: Rebecca Chitwood and Billy Hammock; seventeen grandchildren: Josh Jeffers (Nikki), Tiffany Kimbrell (Josh), Amanda Massengale (Timothy), Isabella, Heaven and Maria Jeffers, Kenneth III, Elisha, Justin and Hannah Acres, Jacob Chambers, Cindel Owens (fiancé Brandon Anderson), Travis Owens (Edrie), Alyssa and Raelyn Acres, Megan Boyatt (fiancé Adam Russ), Jordan Chambers (Brittney); nine great grandchildren: Nevaeh, Patience and Peyton Jeffers, Moriah and Austin Kimbrell, Braicen Anderson, Kalani Owens, Brogan Russ, Brantlee Chambers; special niece: Anita Craig; three brothers: Johnny Acres and wife, Regina, Robert Acres, and Rev. David Acres and wife Paulette; sister:  Phyllis Acres; and aunt: Eva Davis; as well as a host of other family members and friends.  The family would like to send a special thanks to her hospice caregivers:  Brenda Smith, Rhonda Paulson and Amanda Neal.

Friends may visit with the Chambers family on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Chambers and Bro. Randy Cooper officiating.  Music will be provided by Randall Duncan.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
