Reba Irene Smithers, age 87 of Robbins, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.  Reba was born in Fentress County on June 7, 1930 to the late Charlie Matthew and Stella Lackey Hull.

Reba was a member of the Honeycreek United Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William (Bud) Smithers; brothers and sisters: James Clifford Hull and wife Helen, Laura Clark and husband Bill, Oma Garrett, Lawrence (Butch) Hull and wife Betsy, Nora Bowling and husband Rastus; special niece Ronda Phillips; several other nieces and nephews.

Survived by special nieces and nephews: Phillip Russelburg and wife Carla, Kevin Bowling and wife Pamela, Sharon Byrd and husband Dale; special brother-in-law Emmett Garrett; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Smithers family on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 12 p.m. at the Black Creek Cross Roads Cemetery in Robbins.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
