Sandra Stephens Shannon Obituary

Sandra Jean Stephens Shannon, age 68 of Helenwood, TN, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born November 27, 1949 in Fort Worth, TX, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Betty Jones Wilcox.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter: Laura Stephens; and brother: Buddy Wilcox.

Sandra is survived by her husband: Tim Shannon; son: Jason Stephens and wife Ginger, and grandchildren: Shelby, Jordan and Dalton Stephens; daughter: Tracy Day and husband Chauncey; sister: Sharon Ferguson and husband Ron; special friends: Cathy Chambers and Micki Kelly; and other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Shannon family on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Oneida with Bro. Jeff Boyatt officiating.

At Sandra’s request, she will be cremated.
