Steven James Maggiora, age 58, passed away on January 8, 2018 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.  He was born on November 17, 1959 in Big Spring, Texas. 

He is survived by his wife Juanell Rosetta Duncan-Maggiora; sons: Samuel Ale and Jayden Allen Maggiora; his mother, Annette Mary Adamson-Maggiora of San Diego, CA;  brothers: William Day (and Bonnie) Maggiora of Henderson, NV, Michael Wayne (and Eden) Maggiora of Escondido, CA, Jon Marshal (and Kathy) Maggiora of Aurora, CO, and David Alan Maggiora (and Mary Farwell) of San Diego, CA; mother-in-law, Temple Virginia Anderson-Duncan of Strunk, KY, Brothers-in-law: Stephen Scott (and Faye) Duncan and Timothy Paul Duncan both of Strunk, KY; sisters-in-law: Cheri Teresa Duncan-Mallonee of Monticello, KY, Lori Rebecca (and Kevin) Duncan-Chaney, and Kameron Alexis Duncan both of Strunk, KY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Chasity Dawn Maggiora; his father William Day Maggiora; his father-in-law Ronald Wendell Duncan.

Steven was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Baptist Church in Strunk, KY.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony to be held at the family home in Strunk, KY on January 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
