Thursa Jessie Fay Smithers Kidd age 73 of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Spencer and Geneva Bowling Smithers.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean Guy; two grandchildren, Nathan and Joanna.

Survived by husband, Walter Hardin Kidd; five children, Rodney Edward Riley and wife Pamela Sue, Carman Lucinda Wethington, Jacqueline Sue Riley Baldwin and husband Gary of Indiana, Veronica Jessie Riley of Michigan, and Zula Ann Jackson and husband Cameron of Indiana; sister, Patsy June Ratliff of Milford, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

 Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Christopher Sewell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
