William Cleo Owens, age 42, of the Mountain View Community, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at his home.  Born March 28, 1975, he was the son of the late William Sherman Owens and Doris Faye Lackey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers:  Michael Ray Cross and Wesley Ray Cross.

He is survived by his wife:  Anna Owens; children:  Tiffany Nicole Bowlin and husband Eric, Christopher Shayne Muse and Fiancée Keri, Brittany Ann Beard and husband Ricky, Stephanie Lynn Owens and Mike Austin Owens; six grandchildren; step-dad:  Lloyd Ray Cross; brothers:  Lloyd Jr. Cross and wife Misha, BJ Cross and Jimmy Kaylon Keeton Perdue and Fiancée Christy Herman; sister:  Dolly Ann Pearson and husband John; special uncles:  David Lackey and Pat Lackey; cousins:  Jody Harris, Peggy Smart, Amie Boatwright, Jason Lackey and David Jr. Lackey; and many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

A private family service will be held.
