Alene Webb

Alene Webb, age 86 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.  She was the daughter of the late Haywood and Flora Spradlin Winchester.

Alene was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oneida, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  In her younger years, she had a great love of country music, from writing her own songs and music, to performing on the Grand Ole Opry.  In her later years she enjoyed her church and her Sunday school class.  She always had time to sit on her front porch with her beloved dogs and the neighborhood children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Robert Coker and Tom Webb; son-in-law Willis Dean Sexton; grandson Daniel Ray Sexton; great grandson Jesse Dean Alcorn.

Survived by the father of her children Tommie Ray Loyd;  her children: Sharon Terry and husband Dan, Michael Loyd and wife Vela, Sheliah Chitwood and husband George, Katherine Loyd, Tamara Lloyd Gibson and Lydia Stephens and husband Terry; grandchildren: Michael Terry and wife Haley, Michelle Brewster and husband Dennis, Kelly Rose Loyd, Brook Doran, Randel Loyd, Bradley Loyd, Terri Chambers and husband Jesse, Joshua Bruce  and wife Ashley and Joey Bruce and wife Meegan; great grandchildren: Isabella Terry, Hayden Terry, Kaleb Ward, Riley Brewster, Ava Clair Hughett, and Rayland Burbank, Kyrah R. Cantu`, and wife Jessica, Jordan Alcorn and Macayla Chase Newport, Avery Bruce, Kallen Bruce, Kylee Bruce, Tenlee Bruce, and Hunter Bruce; special friends: Karen Green and family and Kelly Danner and family; loving neighbors: Jason and Tasha Stanley and family, Dale Byrd, Wayne and Paige Pryor and family, and Mr. Massengale; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Webb family on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Oneida with Bro. Philip Kazee officiating.  Music will be provided by the First Baptist Church choir.

Committal service will follow in the Carson Memorial Park in Oneida.  Serving as pallbearers will be: Jesse Chambers, Jordan Alcorn, Kelly Alcorn, Joshua Bruce, Joey Bruce, and John Sexton.  Honorary pallbearers: George Chitwood and Terry Stephens.
