Billy Joe Lewallen

Billy Joe Lewallen, age 55 of Robbins, TN passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the Big South Fork Medical Center. Born in Oneida, TN on December 7, 1963, he was the son of the late Dock and Dinah Lewallen. He had a great passion for the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. He attended Concord Baptist Church in Robbins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Sharon Lewallen Blackburn; grandparents, Ed and Fannie Lewallen and Avie and Rosella Cross; uncles, Harvey, Harley, Julius, Junior, Bill and Carlie Lewallen and J.C. and Ray Cross; aunts, Linda Odessa Dollie Bowling and Shirley Cross Yawn.

Billy is survived by son, Dustin Joel Lewallen; brother, Shane Lewallen and wife April; uncles, Richard Cross and fiancée Joann Gunter, Curtis Cross and wife Nelda, Avie Lee Cross, Jr. and wife Pam; aunts, Edna Cross, Reba Lewallen, Beatrice Lewallen, Freida Lewallen, Merita Sue Brady and husband Dennis, Marie Hughett and husband Robert; very special niece that he adored Katelyn Lewallen; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Lewallen family on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Kimbrell officiating. Music will be provided by Victory Bluegrass.

Following the service, his request was cremation.
