Clara Louise Wright Martin

Clara Louise Wright Martin, age 84 of Oneida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at home. She was born December 9, 1934 in Oneida to the late Earl and Lona Blevins Wright.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.  She was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.    

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Martin; brothers Bob and Jerry Wright and her son Danny Martin.

She is survived by her daughters Patricia Williams and Sandy Claiborne and husband Tim of Oneida; grandchildren Joshua Williams and wife Angela, Brian Williams, Courtney Emerson and husband Scott, Cayla Claiborne, Brionna Claiborne, and Sierra Claiborne, Braelin Claiborne and Sidney Claiborne, great grandchildren; Ethan Williams, Sophia Williams, Addilyn Crowley and Easton Emerson; brothers John Wright and wife Tammy, Richard Wright and wife Debbie, Rodney Wright, Donnie Wright and wife Betty, sisters-in-law Yvonne Wright and Regina Wright and many other beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Friends may visit with the Martin family on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 2 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3 pm in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Goad officiating. 

Committal service will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Winfield, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be her family.
