Claudene Laxton

Claudene Laxton, age 59 of Helenwood, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Huntsville Manor Nursing and Rehab Center in Huntsville, TN.  Born January 28, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Dorothy West Laxton.

In addition to her parents, Claudene was preceded in death by her brother:  Robert Laxton.

She is survived by her sister:  Wilda Goodman and husband Onis of Helenwood, TN niece:  Nichole Knight and husband Logan of Powell, TN; nephew:  Jeff Goodman and wife Donna of Helenwood, TN; great niece:  Jacey Goodman and great nephew:  Jaden Goodman, both of Helenwood, TN and companion of 16 years:  Allen Autry of Oneida, TN, and the Autry family; as well as many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Laxton family on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Goodman and Bro. Billy Lowe officiating.  Music will be provided by Witnesses for Jesus:  Logan Pike and Jacey Goodman.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Pike Cemetery in the Tunnel Hill Community.  Pallbearers will be:  Jeff Goodman, Jaden Goodman, Brent Davis, Al Vernon Phillips, Gary Pike and Logan Pike.
