Delbert Ray Taylor

Delbert Ray Taylor, age 56 of Lynn, Indiana passed away at home on Friday, May 17, 2019 after battling multiple illnesses. He loved and feared the Lord and was loved by many. He played baseball as a child and was an avid Red’s fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert (Red) and Jeanne Taylor; his first wife, Patricia Taylor; two sons, Lowell Ledbetter and Carey Westlake; and two daughters, Melanie Hill and Sonya Fulton.

Delbert is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Amanda and her daughter, Rachel; two sons, Scott Ledbetter and Joel Westlake; three daughters, Melinda Kidd and husband Dennis, Michelle Lehman and Stephanie Barthold and husband, Daniel; two sisters, Mary Davilla and Diane Taylor; mother-in-law, Dorothy Berry; 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 11 nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Taylor family on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Windham officiating.

Burial will follow in the Smith-Forbis Cemetery in Oneida.
