Dewey Edmond “Dick” Reynolds, age 86 of Winfield, TN, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at his home with his son by his side. Born in Oneida, TN on April 21, 1933, he was the son of the late Lora and Trilby Jeffers Reynolds. Dick was a Veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in the Korean War, and a devoted member of the Second Bethlehem Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Lanta Reynolds; children: Jewelda and Beau Reynolds; brothers: Delbert, Buck (Ina), Les, and J.C. (Velma) Reynolds; sisters: Cloreda (Charlie) Marcum, Natomia (Ray) Hammond, Anna Kathryn (Frank) Wolford, and Sherman (Gwena) Trammell, and Hilary Trammell.
Dick is survived by his son Lloyd “Vic” (Ginger) Reynolds; children: Matilda (Everett) Thompson, Kelvin (Susan) King, Arnie King, Mia (Ronnie) Daugherty; grandchildren: Caleb (Brittany) Reynolds, Jacob (Savanna) Reynolds, Cammie Mason, Doyle Reynolds, Katie (Jeremy) Roe, Sarah (Blake) Dunlap, Dustin (Kelly) Walker, Reiley Grasshoff, Kayla (Keith Yates, fiancé), Clayton King, Lendsey Daugherty, Chase Daugherty; great grandchildren: Sydney, Lily and Avery Roe, Alieigha King, Hayden and Kamden Dunlap, Kolton Reynolds, Annabelle Grasshoff, Shelbie and Vera Walker; brother: Don Reynolds, sisters-in-law: Pearl (Jack) Collins, Patricia (Jerry) Taylor, Doris Trammell; and many other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Reynolds’ family on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at the Second Bethlehem Baptist Church in Winfield, TN with Bro. Jerry Massengale officiating. Music will be provided by Justin and Tammy Wright.
Committal service will follow in the Walker Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #136 of Oneida.
