Harold M. "Klondike" Stephens

Harold M. “Klondike” Stephens, age 72 of Winfield, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at his home.  Born July 15, 1945 in Winfield, he was the son of the late Edd Stephens and Estelle Strunk Stephens King.  He was a member of the New Light Baptist Church, and Oneida Masonic Lodge #695 F&AM.  He was a 1963 graduate of Oneida High School, and attended San Marcus State University in Texas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother:  Leland Stephens, and one infant brother.

Harold leaves behind his helpmate/caregiver and mother of his children:  Patricia Stephens; 4 children:  Tracy Spradlin and husband Mark of Winfield, TN, Stacie Sexton and fiancé Eddie Baird of Brookport, IL, David Stephens and wife Jaylene of Strunk, KY, and Samantha Byers and husband Tommy of Spring Hill, TN; 7 grandchildren:  Aaron, Sexton, Logan Sexton, Moriah Stephens, Zeb Spradlin, Ava Byers, Lila Byers and Evelyn Byers; 1 sister Nola Gayheart;  as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends.

Friends may visit with the Stephens family on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Blankenship and Bro. James Dunn officiating.

Burial will follow in the Stephens Family Memorial Gardens in Winfield, TN.  Pallbearers will be:  Mark Spradlin, Zeb Spradlin, Aaron Sexton, Logan Sexton, Tommy Byers and Eddie Baird.  Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Luther Pennington, Gary Brewster, James Taylor and Kenny Sulfridge.
