Hazel Ramsey Terry

Hazel Ramsey Terry, age 99 of Winfield, TN passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center. Born in Silerville, KY on January 10, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Sallie Ramsey. She was an original charter member of Highway Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Terry; sons, Jesse and Anthony Terry; 2 brothers, Charles and Harley Ramsey; 3 sisters, Reba Baker, Juanita Ramsey and Essie Crabtree.

Hazel is survived by her son, Roger Terry of Whitley City, KY; sisters, Ruth Ann Thompson and Dessie Conley and husband James; brother, Earnest Earl Ramsey and wife Sue;  4 grandchildren, Allen Terry and wife Annie, Sandy Terry Moore, Renee Byrd and husband David, Mark Terry and wife Amanda; 8 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, MaryLou Terry; many friends from the Senior Citizen’s Center; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Terry family on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Marcum and Bro. Doug Stanley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ross Cemetery in Winfield.
