Ivanee Sexton

Ivanee Sexton, age 86 of the Paint Rock Community, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.  Born February 18, 1932 in Scott County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Schofield and Opha Sexton; and was a member of the Paint Rock Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters:  Infant Beatrice Sexton, and Ella Mae McQueen; brothers:  Willie Sexton and Milford Sexton; nephew:  Rodney McQueen; great niece:  Amber Sexton; and brother-in-law:  Robert McQueen.

Ivanee is survived by her sister:  Mary Lee Sexton of the Paint Rock Community; brothers:  Claude Sexton, Fred Sexton and wife Janice, both of the Paint Rock Community; sister-in-law:  Betty Sexton of Goshen, OH; nieces and nephews:  Chanel Elam of Goshen, OH, Jill Davidson of Crossville, TN, Jack McQueen, Gary Sexton and Freddie Sexton, all of Oneida, and Shaune Sexton of Goshen, OH; and many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Sexton family on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Phillips officiating.  Music will be provided by Shane and Shonda Phillips.

Burial will follow in the John Freeman Sexton Cemetery in the Paint Rock Community of Oneida, TN.
