Mr. Joshua Clayton Lawson, age 23 of Magnolia, Delaware passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. Born on August 28, 1995, he was the youngest son of Roger Lee and Terrie Lynn (Blevins) Lawson. He graduated from Positive Outcomes Charter School in Camden, Delaware. Joshua was loved by many; a son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend. He loved getting lost in his music, making beats, playing video games with his family and friends and uplifting everyone with his sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Elizabeth (Berry) Blevins; grandfather, Bobby Clayton Lawson; grandmother, Pansy M. Hall Blevins; and brother, James Michael Blevins Lawson.
In addition to his parents, Joshua is survived by his brother, Joseph Lee Lawson and wife Katherine, nephew Liam and niece Lucy of Dover, DE; sister, Jessica Lynn Lawson and husband Charles Rogers and niece Syli of Magnolia, DE; sister, Leighanna Lawson and niece due in September of Magnolia, DE; sister-in-law, Keesha Blevins, niece Journey and nephew James Michael of Oneida, TN; grandfather, Roscoe Blevins of Oneida, TN; grandmother, Pat Lawson of New York; great aunt, Nellie Meyers of Oneida; aunt, Lillie Fabian of Camden, DE; uncle, Rick Lawson and wife Mary Ann of Nashville, TN; aunt, Carol Jones of New York; uncles, Dwayne Ward and Rocky Blevins and wife Shelly; aunts, Valerie Crees and husband Justin and Berlinda Stockdale and husband Phillip, all of Louisville, KY; cousins, Violet, Ashley and Kurtis, Kenny, Ashley, Mikayla, Peyton, Tori and Atticus; very special friends, Damon, Daniel and Collin; and many other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Lawson family on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Blevins Family Cemetery in the Pine Creek Community.
