Kelly Adkins

Kelly Adkins, age 76 of Winfield, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019.  Born January 7, 1943 in Scott County, TN, he was the son of the late Zola Lee and Gladys Irene Duncan Adkins.  Kelly was a member of the Oneida Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife:  Beverly ‘Ann’ Parnell Adkins; brothers:  Kenny Lee Adkins and Roger Zane Adkins.

Kelly is survived by his children:  Debby Anderson and husband Galen of Helenwood, TN, and George Adkins and wife Lori of Johnson City, TN; grandchildren:  Kyle Anderson, Matthew Adkins and Rebecca Adkins; brothers and sisters:  Paul Adkins (JoAnn), Larry Adkins (Loretta), and Sandy (Bob) Stewart; brothers and sisters-in-law:  Brenda Sue Parnell, Edwin Parnell (Ethel), Bob Parnell (Carolyn), Mike Parnell (Doris); several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Adkins family on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with John T. Polk, II and Kyle Anderson officiating.  Music will be provided by the Congregation led by Dalton Beard.

Burial will follow in the Carson Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be:  Kyle Anderson, Paul Dean Adkins, Tom Mason, Don Billingsley, Jacob Billingsley, and Seth Billingsley.
