Linda Sexton

Linda Sexton, age 63 of Huntsville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Scott County, TN on May 20, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Marie Barnes. She was a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Sexton; grandson, Keelyn Birchfield; and two brothers, Mike and James Barnes.

Linda is survived by her children, Michelle Birchfield and husband Dennis Newport of Huntsville, TN, Chad Birchfield and Laura Joe Vanover of Helenwood, TN, Dustin Silcox and Amanda Maley of New River, TN, Crystal Boshears and husband Greg Boshears of Fairview, TN and Charlie Barnes of Huntsville, TN; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers, Carl and Ina Jeffers and Will Barnes; one sister, Sheila and Jerry Byrd; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Sexton family on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Sharpe and Bro. Carlie Duncan officiating. Music will be provided by Regina Sharp, Ashley Botts, Tosha Boshears and Stacey Newport.

Committal service will follow in the Keeton Cemetery in Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Dakota Blevins, Shannon Byrd, Nathan Byrge, Tyler Byrge, Eric Boshears and Nick Botts. Honorary pallbearers will be: Greg Boshears, Chase Blevins and Wesley Smith.
