Mae Reynolds

Nora Mae Blevins Reynolds, age 86 of Oneida, TN passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. Born in Scott County, TN on November 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Caney and Maudie Blevins Terry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Creed Ledford, Halk Smith, Earl Reynolds; brother, Theodore Terry; and sister, Dorothy Young.

Mae is survived by daughters, Patricia Reynolds and husband Larry, Teresa Ledford and Mark Hughett; son, Jeffrey Ledford and wife Katherine; grandsons, Adam Hamby and wife Cherish, Aaron Hamby and wife Erica, Zachary Phillips and Kimberly Crabtree and Jacob Ledford and Alisha Cooper; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Creed Hamby; brothers, Harlin Terry and wife Jewell, JD Terry and wife Patsy, Cordell Terry and wife Ova; sisters, Lola Fae Terry and husband Milford and Bonnie Miller; brother-in-law, Billy Young; and special caregivers, Paula Stephens and Nora Cox and Quality Private Duty and Quality Hospice staff.  She leaves many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Friends may visit with the Reynolds family on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Ledford and Bro. Aaron Hamby officiating. Music will be provided by Aaron and Adam Hamby and Shepherd’s Way.

Committal service will be on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Adam Hamby, Aaron Hamby, Zachary Phillips, Jacob Ledford, Larry Reynolds and Mark Hughett. Honorary pallbearers will be: Harlin, JD and Cordell Terry.
