Nevada Mae Corder Obituary

Nevada Mae Corder 69 years, 4 months, and 4 days of Stearns, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, March 19, 2018 at her home.

She was born November 15, 1948 in Strunk, Kentucky to the late RL West and Mabel (King) West. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Corder, sisters, Wanda Crabtree, Brenda Watters, and Katherine Soard, and brothers, Jack West, Robert West, and Noble West.

Surviving family include her children, Russell White and wife, Rae, of Tacoma Washington, Tony White and wife, Teresa, of Strunk, Kentucky, Jerry White and wife, Samantha, of New Baden, Illinois, and April Childres and husband, Paul, of Oneida, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Layne Wilson and husband, Rick; a brother, Rockie West; and a special sister-in-law, Pernie West.

Nevada enjoyed her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed keeping a clean home, collecting dolls, and listening to the radio.

Funeral service will be held at graveside on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Silerville Cemetery with Bro. Stanley Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
