Philip Lance Burchfield, age 42 of Oneida, Tennessee passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 at his home. He was born in Oneida, TN on February 23, 1977. He attended White Rock Baptist Church in Huntsville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Burchfield; grandparents, Herman and Ocie Adkins, Clyde and Wilma Burchfield and Charlene Reeves.

Lance is survived by his mother, Charlotte Crabtree and husband Dudley; children, Logan and Lily Burchfield of Oneida, TN, Courtney Griffis and husband Byron of McCreary County, KY, Payton Butler and Tessa Neal of Corbin, Kentucky; sister, Vanessa Gray and Scott of Winfield, TN; brother, Devin Crabtree and wife Corrie of Cookeville, TN; one grandchild, Jaxtyn Griffis of Kentucky; the mother of his children, Sarah Anderson of Corbin, Kentucky; nieces and nephew, Josilynn and Colton Gray of Winfield, TN and Elaina Crabtree of Cookeville, TN; and many aunts, uncles, family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Burchfield family on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jim West officiating.

Graveside service will be on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Adkins Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Byron Griffis, Colton Gray, Dudley Crabtree, Devin Crabtree, Shane Phillips and Jerry Burchfield. Honorary pallbearers will be: W.A. Jeffers, Nathan Phillips, Marty King, Ronnie Crabtree, Raymond Anderson, Scott Gray, Clay Sutton and Phil Marcum.
