Travis Jeffers Obituary

Travis Walter Jeffers, age 86 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center. Born April 20, 1933 in Scott County, TN, he was the son of the late Lonzo and Flora Jeffers. He was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Gilberta Jeffers; and brother-in-law: Walter Sandifer.

Travis is survived by his sister: Jean Sandifer of Cincinnati, OH; step-daughter: Carol Phillips and husband Curtis of Huntsville, TN; grandson: Jeff Phillips and wife Hattie of Huntsville, TN; nieces: Teresa Wenning and husband Dave, and Lisa Anderson and husband Glen, both of Cincinnati, OH; as well as many other grandkids, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may visit with the Jeffers family on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Caldwell officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.
