Wanda Bowling

Wanda Fay “West” Bowling, age 72, of Robbins, Tennessee, departed this life on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born on December 23, 1945 in

Scott County to the late Owen and Beulah Smith West.  She was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Robbins.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harlie Bowling; grandson Ben Rylie Bowling; sister and brother-in-law Ida and Starling Bowling; brother Bob West; and father and mother-in-law Floyd and Effie Harness Bowling.

She is survived by her children; daughter Sherry Massengale of Huntsville; sons, Jerry Bowling and wife Patricia, Leonard Bowling and wife Becki, all of Robbins; grandchildren, Jonathan Massengale and wife Tonya of Robbins, Justin Massengale and wife Amanda of Winfield, Kyle Bowling and fiancée Kaity Blessing of Gallatin, Logan Bowling of Robbins, Kalyn, Jovie and Sammy Bowling all of Robbins; six step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson; brothers, Bill West, Arnold West and wife Corene of Robbins; sisters, Patricia Byrd, Sue and Earl Henry of Robbins; special friends, Carrie Brown of Robbins and Derita Gunter of Helenwood, TN; special great niece Larissa Bowling; several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

 Friends may visit with the Bowling family on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Russell and Rev. Kelvin Young officiating.  Music will be by Jimmy and Sarah Byrd, Michael and Elizabeth Carroll. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 12 Noon at the Lone Mountain Cemetery in Robbins.  Pallbearers will be Jonathan Massengale, Justin Massengale, Kyle Bowling, Logan Bowling, Sammy Bowling, Dennis Bowling and Dwight Bowling.
