Wanda Jean Hamby Obituary

Wanda Jean Hamby, age 77, of Winfield, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Tennova Healthcare Turkey Creek in Knoxville. Jean was born November 1, 1941 to the late Floyd Hamby and Zola Hamby Crabtree. She was a member of the Winfield Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Chitwood; daughter, Robin Chitwood; brother, Steve Hamby; and sister, Karen Hamby.
Jean is survived by daughter, Felicia Ball; son, Clark Chitwood, Sr. and wife, Tonya; grandchildren, Dyron Chitwood, Krystal Chitwood, Dylan Ball, Eric Ball, Audra Ball, Clark Christopher Chitwood, Jr., Nathaniel Chitwood, Jonathan Chitwood; one great-grandchild, Carter Chitwood; brothers, Jerry Crabtree and Luke Hamby; step-sister, Midge Crabtree; and former husband, Robert Chitwood.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at the Winfield Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 with Bro. Chris Sewell officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Chitwood Cemetery in Winfield.
