Christopher Shawn Byrd

Christopher Shawn Byrd, age 42, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father:  Lonnie Byrd; brother:  Roger Byrd; grandparents:  Lola and Esaw Byrd, and Mary Jane Hurstle Bell; several aunts and uncles; and nephew:  Nathan Griffith.

He is survived by his wife:  Crystal Byrd; daughters:  Hayley, Mahayla and Gracie Byrd; mother:  Janice Byrd; siblings:  Mary King and husband Jeff, Lonnie Byrd and fiancée Dusty, Sue Griffith and husband Jim, Deanna Huckeby and husband Billy; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Byrd family on Wednesday, August 26, 2020  from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Golden officiating.

Committal service will be in the New Light Cemetery in Winfield, Tennessee.  
Serving as pallbearers will be: Kevin Adkins, Drake Adkins, Jeff King, Tim Smith, Billy Huckeby, and Lonnie Byrd.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.  Masks are required.
