Deborah Shinkle

Deborah Sue Foster Shinkle, age 65 of Winfield, TN passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN surrounded by her family. Debbie was born on October 29, 1954 to the late James and Marjorie Foster. She was a member of the Second Otter Creek Baptist Church; and was employed with Winfield School for over 25 years.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by mother-in-law, Verna Shinkle; 2 brothers, Jimmy and Jennings Foster; 1 sister, Gloria Childers; 2 daughters, Natasha Dawn Shinkle and Tena Foster Burke; 1 nephew, Tim Childers; and 1 niece, Kay Foster.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 40 years:  Jamie Shinkle; children:  Brandy Byrge and husband Matt, Adam Shinkle and wife Jess; grandchildren: Emmiley Boutwell and fiancé Brad, Nate Byrge, Marissa Byrge, Lexiey Burke and Carly Grace Byrge; special nieces and nephews:  Jane Roberts and husband Foy, Jennifer Szczepan and husband Harvey; Haskel Foster and Donna, Dennis Foster and Kathy, Tony Childers and Brenda, Louie Chambers and Michael Foster; brother-in-law:  George Childers; special friends:  Rhonda Crabtree, Kaye Pike, Gereda Fletcher, Brenda Owens, and Cindi Marlar; and many other family members and friends.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Second Otter Creek Cemetery in the Kingtown Community, with Bro. Robert Blankenship officiating.  Music will be provided by the Chitwood Family. Pallbearers will be:  Steven West, Ty Gibson, Brad Sallee, Lucas Hurston, Doug Wilson and Jake Sumner. Honorary Pallbearer will be:  Tony Childers.
