Hazel Flossie DeBord

Hazel Flossie DeBord, age 87 of Robbins, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at her home with her loving family by her side.  Born on April 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Rose Branum Wright.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Tony DeBord and wife Sue Debord; eight sisters and two brothers. 

Hazel is survived by her husband of 70 years Robert DeBord; sister Onlee Garrett and husband Clifford; children, Richard and Bobbie DeBord, Barbara (DeBord) Litwicki and Jerry Litwicki, and Steve DeBord; grandkids, Shane Dorris, Deana and Randy George, Brande and Mike Weihl, Kristina DeBord, Jennifer and Jason Blackburn, Crystal and Brandon Skaggs, Anthony and Joni Duncan, Melissa Litwicki and husband Barnaby Jones; great grandkids, Kaitlyn and Tabitha Dorris, Zachary Barrett Chandler Warmanen, Moriah and Joshua Dorris, Austin, Emily and Riley Weihl, Braden, Kelsey, and Chloe Blackburn, Landon, Brinnalyn, Blake and Savannah Skaggs, Dylan, Olivia and Gracie Duncan; four great-great grandkids; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the DeBord family on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Wilkinson officiating. 

Committal service will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins, TN.  Pallbearers will be: Shane Dorris, Chandler Warmanen, Zachary Barrett, Aaron Caldwell, Randy George and Braden Blackburn.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. Masks are required.
