Irma Louise Reed Sexton

Irma Louise Reed Sexton, age 81, departed this life on Friday, May 8, 2020 at her home in Huntsville, TN surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren.  Born November 7, 1938 in Scott County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Hernald and Irma Reed.  She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church; and was the Office Administrator for the family’s business, Sexton’s Electric, from 1974 to 2016 alongside her husband, Lounova, and son Shane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great grandsons:  Jonah and Josiah Cotton; siblings:  Sue Horton, David Reed and Mary Beth Reed.

Louise is survived by her husband of 64 years:  Lounova Sexton; children:  Tammy Foster and deceased husband Gary Foster, Nova Taylor and husband Dean, Regina Walters and husband Todd, and Shane Sexton and wife Angel; grandchildren:  Austin Sexton, Dusty Sexton and wife Hannah, Amber Huber and husband David, Heather Roberts and husband Chad, Chris Cotton and fiancée Jessica Hale, and Jonathan Cotton and wife McKelia; great grandchildren:  Harper Huber, Roz Huber, Brentley Albertson, Taylor Roberts, Roman Sexton, Shaya Cotton, Jace Cotton, Haven Cotton, Aleighana Cotton, Zoey Cotton, Liam Cotton and Caleb Cotton; siblings:  Billy Reed, Wayne Reed, Ruthie Reed, Timmy Reed and wife Jarenda Reed, Robert Reed and wife Ladonna.  Irma Louise had many nieces and nephews and friends that she loved so very much.  Rev. Jeff Davis has always had a special place in her heart and our families’ hearts.  Heaven gained one amazing angel.  We will always love you, Irma Louise.

Private graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.
