Jewell A. Kidd Terry

Jewell A. Terry, age 81 of the Big Springs Community in Oneida, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at her home.  Born August 25, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Kidd and Ella Esther Kidd.  Jewell was a Christian and a member of the High Point Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband:  Robert L. Terry; brothers:  Hollis, Jesse, Archie and Linden Kidd; sisters:  Grace Sumner, Pauline Duff and special son-in-law:  Mark Lloyd.

Jewell is survived by her children:  Susan Lloyd, Bob (Debi) Terry, Dan (Teresa) Terry, and Esther (Quinton) Miller; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; six great, great grandchildren; sister:  Louise Phillips; brother and sisters-in-law:  Willard (Karen) Terry, Glenna (Glen) Thompson and Naomi Terry, Carroll (Carolyn) Clark; special niece, Tina Kidd; special friends:  Eric Crawford, Michael Wilson, Debbie and George Butler; and many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Terry family on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at the High Point Baptist Church with Bro. Caleb Terry and Bro. John Terry officiating.  Music will be provided by the Terry Family.

Committal service will follow in the Troxel Cemetery.  Jewell’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.  Masks are required.
