Joseph Charles 'Joe' Sibley, Sr.

Joseph Charles ‘Joe’ Sibley Sr., 78 of Winfield, joined the departed on Friday, December 9th, 2022 in Florida. Born September 21st, 1944, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Joe was the son of the late Charles W. & Gertrude Flagg Sibley.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Joseph Charles Sibley Jr.; sister, Jean Sibley; brothers, John Sibley and Jay Sibley.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran spending time in the Pacific and Indian Oceans during the Vietnam War.

Joe was a small business owner providing electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services to the Scott County community. He was an avid racing fan with many memories made with the Marlar racing crew. He also enjoyed work, gardening, cooking, dancing, and listening to music. 

Joe is survived by three daughters: Wendy Tretheway of Southbridge, MA, Debbie Sibley of Southbridge, MA, Mary Esteban of Peoira, AZ, and son, Joshua Sibley of DeLand, FL; two brothers, James Sibley of Winter Haven, FL, Jeffrey Sibley of Port St. Lucie, FL; four sisters, Janet Lemieux of Fort Pierce, FL, Judith Bowes of Oxford, MA, Joyce Gage of Webster, MA, and Joan Marchand of Webster, MA; several grandchildren and other special relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Sibley family on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home. 

A celebration of life will take place at a later time and place with funeral services proceeding. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Winfield Fire Department, 24947 Scott Hwy., Winfield, TN   37892.
