Larry Lamar Ellis, age 64 of Oneida, TN, passed away suddenly on July 25, 2020, in the morning hours at his home. Born October 4, 1955 in Oneida, he was the son of the late Rudolph (Doc) Ellis and Joyce Turner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Jackie Ellis and several other relatives.

Larry is survived by his only daughter: Christie Stringfield of Robbins; grandson: Gage Huckey of Robbins; his only sister: Sheila Burchfield of Oneida; his half-brother: David Welch of Knoxville; niece: Hannah Burchfield; nephews: Anthony and Jamie Henry, all of Oneida; special great-nephew: Matthew Tanner Brown; great nieces: Gracie Brown and Shaelen Wright of Oneida; special aunt: Wilma Crowley of Oneida, and Uncle Bill Welch of Columbus, OH; special friend: Louise Jones of Oneida; and many other relatives and friends.

The family’s request was cremation.
