Linda Walker Obituary

Linda Sue Walker, age 65 of Elgin, TN, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at the Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She belonged to West Robbins Baptist Church. Linda was strong in her faithfulness to the Lord. This was evident in her everyday life, not just on Sunday. She shaped our faith and showed us God’s love in human form. Linda was special to those lucky enough to call her family. She treated all her nieces and nephews like her own.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Celia Foster; brothers, Vern Byrge and Charles C. Foster; grandmother, Delia Smithers; grandfather, Mart Foster; and nephews, Stacy Phillips and Aaron Lawson.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Daniel Byrge of Robbins, Denise and Jerry Tompkins of Robbins, Mary Lyn and Curt Carson of Huntsville, Chrissy and Jerry Bertram of Robbins, Martha and Kirby Wright of Coal Hill, Clayton Foster of Oneida, Rachel Newport of Oneida and Marty Ellis of Chatsworth, GA; sisters-in-law, Ann Byrge of Robbins, Deanna Foster of Oneida, Michelle and Gordon Cravens of Albany, KY; great nieces and nephews, Justin, Dustin, Blake, Aaron, Brandon, Jonathan, Amanda, Tracie, Kelsie, Jerrica, Emily, Rebecca, Madison, Cristian, Alyssa, Braylon, Caitlin, Courtney, Jordan, Shane, Logan and Ryan; special cousins, Betty K. Phillips, Phillip Foster, Rossetta McElreath and Geri Brewster; 20 great, great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 12 noon in the Black Creek Cross Roads Cemetery in Robbins, TN with Bro. Scotty Harness officiating. Pallbearers will be: Daniel Byrge, Clayton Foster, Brandon Phillips, Blake Byrge, Aaron Byrge and Steven Phillips.
