Milford E. Sexton Obituary

Milford Elcaney Sexton, age 70 of Oneida, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. Born in Scott County, TN on July 4, 1952, he was the son of the late Elwood and Mandy Mae Sexton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angelia Ruth Mae Sexton; sisters, Dottie Sexton and Lawrence Sexton, Margret Anderson and Charles Anderson, Gladys Smith and Leon Smith, Laura Lay and Arvil Lay; brothers, Bob Sexton and James (Buddy) Sexton and wife Faye Sexton.

He is survived by his son, Milford Lee Sexton; sisters, Artie Lewallen and husband Charles Lewallen, Lou Hall and husband Doc Hall; brother, Donald Lee Sexton; seven grandchildren, Bryson Lee Sexton of Oneida, TN, Chelsey Sexton of Winfield, TN, McKayla Sexton of Rockwood, TN, Addie Hutchingson of Anderson County, Bailie Monday of Somerset, KY, Jayden Sexton of Rockwood, TN, and Kysen Sexton of Rockwood, TN; six great grandchildren; two special nieces, Tessie Sexton and Eva Love of Florida; many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Highpoint Baptist Church with Bro. Donnie Griffith officiating.
