Nancy Elizabeth 'Beth' Marcum Obituary

Nancy Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Marcum, born in Knoxville, Tennessee on April 5, 1981, departed this life on July 3, 2020. Beth, who professed her faith and trust in Christ early in her life, was a graduate of Oneida High School and Furman University. She studied art at Furman and in Chicago and Italy and was a member of the art communities in Greenville, South Carolina and Atlanta.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Horace and Wilma Gann of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Allen Marcum of Oneida and aunt Nancy Sue Gann and uncle David Gann of Chattanooga.

She is survived by parents Steve and Carol Marcum of Oneida, brother Stephen Marcum of Charleston, South Carolina, grandmother Jean Marcum of Oneida, aunt Deborah Gann of Chattanooga, aunt Patti (Josh) Collins of Salem, South Carolina, aunt Carol Lowe (William) of Martinez, Georgia, uncle Michael F. (Fred) Marcum of Oneida, many extended family members and numerous cousins in whom she took great delight.

She was appreciative of all who extended their love and friendship to her over the years. Her wish was for a private family service.

Interment will be at the Sunnyview Cemetery on the family property.
