Robert L. Baird Obituary

Robert Baird, age 57 of Oneida, TN passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. Born November 20, 1965, he was the son of the late Gerald Baird and Geraldine Pledger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Gertrude Gardner, who raised him.

Robert is survived by wife: Karen Baird; daughter: Hillary Magness and husband Chris; son: Justin Baird; and daughter: Kayla Kendrick and husband Nathan; grandchildren: Ryleigh and Mason O’Donald; Brantley and Jaxon Magness; Rylan Jones, Axton, Paisley, and Charlie Baird; brother: James Baird and wife Missy; sisters: Linda Daugherty, Brenda Phillips, Karen Daugherty, Shirley Braden, Elise Phillips, and Louise Adcock; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Baird family on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the High Point Baptist Church with Bro. Jamie Byrd and Bro. Josh Lay officiating. Music will be provided by Jamie and Toni Byrd.

Committal service will follow in the High Point Baptist Church Cemetery in Oneida, TN. Pallbearers will be: Nathan, Chris, Justin, Archie, James, James Albert, Jerry, Logan, Jeff, and Jimmy.
