Shirley Parton

Shirley Faye Parton, age 84 of Oneida, TN passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Glenmary, TN on March 12, 1936. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a Christian and a Child of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Parton and infant daughter, Beverly Ann Parton.

Shirley is survived by her children, Debbie Christian and husband Donnie, Kathy King, Rita Frazier and husband Phil, Steve Parton, Denise Randall and husband Doug, and Doris Dills and husband Scott; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Parton family on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Sexton and Bro. Jaime Jordan officiating. Music will be provided by Jaime Jordan.

Committal service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Steve Parton, Scott Dills, Cody Sexton, Jacob Moorman, René Ruiz, and Terry Wilkerson.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. Masks are required.
