Shirley Faye West

Shirley Faye Marcum West, age 87 of Oneida, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Scott County, TN on September 18, 1932, she was the daughter of the late James (Jim) and Anna (Keeton) Marcum.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard (Stine) West; son-in-law, Richard Ellis; grandson, William Smith; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tabitha and Johnnie West; sister, Irene Alexander; brothers, Charles Marcum, Harold Marcum, Tim Marcum, Larry Marcum and infant brother Ozro Marcum; sisters-in-law, Rose, Irene, Pat, Sadie, Marie; and brothers-in-law, Wayne, Ken, J.T. and Roscoe.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Lissa Ellis of Oneida, TN, Carolyn (Randy) Lewallen of Robbins, TN, Katherine (Tom) Alvey of Flower Mound, TX; brothers, Lester (Doris) Marcum, Curtis Sr. (Thelma) Marcum, Robert (Myra) Marcum of Oneida, TN, Gary (Judy) Marcum of Rome, GA; sister, Sue (Ron) Blakely of Indianapolis, IN; sisters-in-law, Sandra Marcum and Brenda Marcum of Indianapolis, IN, Opal (Jim) Chambers of Oneida, TN, Mertie West of Peoria, IL; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Shirley’s request was cremation.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
