Toney Lee Chambers

Toney Lee Chambers, age 78 of Huntsville, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Toney was born on February 17, 1942 to the late Fred and Ophia Phillips Chambers. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Hestel Chambers and Harold Chambers and 1 infant brother; 2 sisters, Juanella Mae Chambers and Lena Rose Gray; grandparents, Jim Babb and Elizabeth Chambers and Fed and Effie Phillips.

Toney is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte (Ollie) Crabtree Chambers; 3 sons, Terry Chambers, Wade Chambers and Kathy, Stephen Chambers and Kammy; 6 grandchildren, Tony Dwight, Stephen Lee, Tyler Lee, Courtney, Brittany and Desirae; 7 great grandchildren, Tanner, Braylan, Dedric, Jadan, Cheyenne, Brody, and Dylan; 1 step grandson, Jeremy Overton; 2 step great grandchildren, Dakota Overton and LaShay Overton; 1 brother, Ancil and Faye Chambers; 1 sister, Shirley and Harold Frye; and many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Chambers family on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Sexton officiating. Music will be provided by George Byrd.

Committal service will be on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 12 noon in the Strunk Cemetery in Huntsville with full Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #136 of Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Tim Phillips, Wade Chambers, Stevie Chambers, Tony Chambers, Tyler Chambers and Steve Chambers.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. Masks are required.
