Wilma Buttram

Wilma Marie Lackey Buttram, age 86 of Huntsville, TN passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. Born in Helenwood, TN on February 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Laura Lackey. She was a member of Farview Hills Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Ernest “Brown” Buttram; children, Lawton Keith Lackey, Karry Kevin Buttram and Hastlene, Todd Buttram, Linda Lou Buttram West, and Donald Lee; sisters, Susie Clark, Paulina Stephens; brothers, Harold Lackey and RT Lackey.

Wilma is survived by her children, Jonah and Loretta Buttram, Mark and Debbie Buttram, Sherri and Junior Davis, Jeff Lee Buttram, and Mike and Angie Buttram; grandchildren, Christy Bruce, Heather Buttram, John Buttram, Margo Cross, Chad Buttram, Tammy Copeland, Felicia Buttram, Jessica Lackey, Tabitha Lannum, Sherina, Kristy, and David (Tabatha) Davis; great grandchildren, Paige and Presley, Riley and Kamden, Montana and Greg, Bentyn (Brent), Brantlee, Caylyn, Jaycee, Jaden, Malaya, Brenlynn, and Kyson; sister, Cleda Cook, Alice Byrge; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Buttram family on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. James Taylor officiating.

Committal service will be on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 12 noon in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
