Wonnell Pike

Wonnell Pike, age 62 of Helenwood, TN departed this life on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Cumberland Village in LaFollette, TN. Born in Oneida, TN on August 22, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Eva Coffey Pike. She loved to crochet, knit, and restore furniture. She was employed at Robbins Elementary School until retirement. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three grandsons, Joshua Adam Morgan, Ron Adam “Bud” Morgan, and an infant; special niece, Veronica Lynn Phillips-Owens, nephew, Donny Pike; and brother-in-law, Harrison “Bimbo” Smith.

Wonnell is survived by her daughter, Cassandra Lynn Rich (Charles Morgan) of McCreary County, KY; son, Terry Michael Yancey of Helenwood; three granddaughters, Charley Elaine (fiancé Dawson May), Chloe Lynn, and Chantal Mary; four sisters, Lola Mae Smith, Sharon (Steve) Phillips, Wanda (Bobby) Cotton, and Vickie (Martin) Webb; brother, Mickey (Diana) Pike; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Pike family on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Ed King officiating. Music will be provided by Sherry Slaven.

Committal service will follow in the Pike Family Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
