Janice Paige Shannon Miller

Janice Paige Shannon Miller, age 70 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Wellington, FL.  Born July 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Orene Hale Shannon.  Janice was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Oneida; worked for over 40 years as a Registered Nurse; and loved spending time with family and friends, swimming, the outdoors, and entertaining.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister:  Charlotte Vanderpool and sister-in-law:  Sandy Shannon.

Janice is survived by her life partner:  Santiago ‘Sam’ Diaz; 2 children:  Anthony Miller and wife Gail, and Tonya Dupre and husband Wade; grandchildren:  Raquel Dupre, Dylan Miller, Wesly Crabtree and Conner Miller; great grandchildren:  Anjolie Peebles and Lyrah Amedee; sisters and brother:  Nona Brown and husband James, Debbie Anderson and husband Zane, and Tim Shannon; several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Miller family on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Oneida, TN.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Oneida, TN.

Entombment will follow in the Carson Memorial Mausoleum in Oneida, TN.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
