Muriel Louise Thompson Stephens

Muriel Louise Thompson Stephens, age 82 of Williamsburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, November 5, 2018 to be with her son, Donnie Williams. Also waiting at the gate were her husband, parents, brothers and their wives, and many family and friends.

Muriel was born on March 8, 1936 to John and Dora Murphy Thompson. Her siblings were Morris Thompson, Earl Thompson her twin, Betty Thompson and Johnny Roy Thompson.

Left here to meet her again some sweet day are her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren; her sister, Betty Thompson Phillips and family; her brother, Roy Thompson and family; her nieces and nephews from her brothers that have gone on and her sister-in-law Flora Stephens Sexton and family, and other family and friends.

She leaves behind the Williamsburg Health and Rehabilitation Center family and friends. They took such good care of her. They truly loved her as part of their own. Muriel’s sweet smile, beautiful blue eyes, heart and soul will live on in her daughter’s and son-in-law’s heart and she will never be forgotten.

Friends may visit with the Stephens family on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Sewell officiating.

She will be laid to rest with burial following at Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery beside her son, Donnie.
