Butch Taylor

Butch Taylor, age 51 of Rockwood, TN passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at his home. Born in Fentress County, TN on April 24, 1972, he was the son of Daniel and Haley Taylor. He was a member of the Soul Filling Station Revival Center.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Taylor; grandparents, Barney Taylor and Doris Tootsie Taylor and Turney Lowe and Myrtle Lowe; half-sister, Lois Russell; and cousins, Harvey Day and Hannah Taylor Dayton.

Butch is survived by his mother, Haley Taylor of Winfield; sisters, Elizabeth and Magalene Taylor of Winfield; brothers, Randy Taylor and wife April of Oneida, Danny Taylor of Fairview, Mitchell Taylor of Knoxville; half-brother, Lonnie Russell of Winfield; nephews, James Taylor and Eli Taylor of Oneida; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Taylor family on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Garrett officiating. Music will be provided by Trio for Jesus.

Committal service will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery in Sunbright, TN. Pallbearers will be: Chris Hardin, Rodney Miller, Mark Herald, Ervin Taylor, Jesse Garrett, Eddie Garrett, and Chris Day.
