Charlotte (Ollie) Chambers Obituary

Charlotte Lee (Ollie) Chambers, age 80 of Helenwood, TN, left this world on Friday, February 9, 2024. She was born on May 21, 1943, to the late Ewell Crabtree and Minerva Byrd Crabtree. Ollie loved her family along with cooking, canning, and her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Toney Chambers; sisters, Ruth Bolton (Dennis), Margaret Honeycutt (Walter), Edith Love (Grover), Opal Whisnant, Mabel Phillips (Bill), Ethel Crabtree; brother, J.H. Crabtree (Judy); sisters-in-law, Juanella Mae Chambers, Lena Rose Gray, and Shirley Frye; brothers-in-law, Hal Whisnant, Billy Don Loyd, Hestle Chambers, and Harold Chambers.

Ollie is survived by her children, Wade (Kathy), Steve (Kammy), and Terry (Roxanna) Chambers; sisters, Daisey Loyd, Cassie Whisnant; brothers, Charles Crabtree (Jeraldine), L.B. Crabtree (Ruth); brothers-in-law, Ancil Chambers (Faye), Bob Gray, Harold Frye; sister-in-law, Colvina Chambers Potter; grandchildren, Tony Chambers (Crystal), Stephen Chambers, Tyler Chambers, Courtney Chambers (Brad), Brittany Miller (Dusty), Jeremy Overton, Desirae Watson (Derek); great grandchildren, Tanner, Eli, Natalie, Brody, Dillon, Braylon, Adison, Dedric, Dakota, LaShae, Jadon, Cheyenne, Kayla, Ethan, Jalie; great-great grandchild, Lispin Overton; several nieces and nephews, other extended family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Chambers family on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Sexton officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Strunk Cemetery in Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Terry Chambers, Wade Chambers, Buddy Crabtree, Stephen Chambers, Tim Phillips, Tyler Chambers, and Tony Chambers. Honorary pallbearer will be: Steve Chambers.
