Deanna (Russell) Foster

Deanna Russell Foster, age 71, departed her life on Friday, March 15, 2024, at her home.  She was born on September 10, 1952, in Scott County, TN, to the late Everett and Tina Davis Russell.

We won’t say goodbye to you because none of us would like to.  Although we cannot see you anymore, you’ll always still be at our side.  You left us memories that will last through eternity.  Your character and loving heart will forever be unmatched.  Your given nature was a gift from God that we were all blessed to witness.  You were steadfast in your faith and never wavered.   Your loyalty to your family could never be challenged.  Saying goodbye to you is something we won’t do.  We love you, our Mother, our blood.

In addition to her parents, Deanna was preceded in death by her husband:  Charles C. Foster; son:  Stacy Phillips; brothers:  Carter, Burley, and Steven Russell; sisters Joyce Salts and Zona Long; and mother-in-law:  Celia Foster.

Deanna is survived by her children:  Michell Phillips, Clayton Foster, and Rachel Newport; eight grandchildren:  Jordan Phillips, Shane Voiles and wife Maria, Logan Voiles and girlfriend Gracie, Alyssa and Braylon Foster, Caitlin Phillips and boyfriend Nathan, and Courtney and Ryan Newport; brother:  Roger Russell and wife Wanda; several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

A private family viewing was held.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins, TN with Scotty Harness officiating.  Pallbearers will be:  Clayton, Braylon, Ryan, Shane, Logan, and Nathan.
